CFMA & LA/NTMA Joint Event: State of manufacturing in California. What you can do to be more proactive in the regulatory process?
“I heard back from some of the people that attended the mixer and the revues were outstanding. Again, it is great to have such gatherings for departments from different companies who perform the same function getting together. I know our people were pleased and learned from others during this event and look forward to continued events being planned by CFMA.”

“Meeting and networking with fellow members is at the very top of my list of CFMA membership benefits. Over the past 20 or so years, I have gotten many profitable business referrals from other manufacturing segments and even competitors in the upholstery business! CFMA members are nice people too. It’s easy and fun to get to know them at CFMA seminars and events.”

“CFMA has saved us tons of time and money by keeping us up to date on all the various California regulations. CARB, TB-117, Prop 65, and employment laws are just a few regulations I have had detailed conversations about over the past two months. Just pick up the phone and call fellow members for sound advice!”

“I was told that our CFMA discount for printing at Staples was a good one, but I had no Idea it was this good! I went in to Staples to print 20, 84 page full color product books with binding and covers, the original price was just under $1000. I almost forgot about the CFMA discount number I was given, but I did end up giving it to the clerk, the price came down to $532 – from $49 to $26 each. I could not believe it and neither could the clerk. He said it was the best discount he had ever seen on color printing. The printing discount we get from other associations and memberships is like 15% or 20%, this is over 50%. We just got back almost 25% of our membership cost for the year.”
